1. Energy Efficient

The ENERGY STAR Logo is a symbol of a company commitment to provide their customers with a product that performs above code.  For a builder this means the home has been designed, built and tested to achieve an energy saving which is 15% to 20% above code. In addition to the higher energy efficiency, ENERGY STAR homes are more comfortable and durable.  ENERGY STAR homes are built using a system which incorporates, water management, energy efficiency and certifies the HVAC system.

A new home that has earned the ENERGY STAR label has undergone a process of inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict requirements set by the US EPA. ENERGY STAR certified homes use 15-30% less energy than typical new homes while delivering better comfort, quality, and durability.
